Hey guys! This is Joel and also our very first blog post ever made ever *pops champagne*.
(But seriously, never drink and blog)
As you would expect, I have some news to share with you from 3 aspects of space-time; past, present and future. I'll even sub-title them so you can choose which one best suits your current mood.
PAST NEWS
If you don't already know, this blog is related to the YouTube channel Apterygiformes. A video making team (or 'dynamic duo' if you're talking to me - Ben doesn't like this...) based in the UK. Currently we're both involved in full-time education so clearly our upload schedule can't be guaranteed, but we have written down a vauge early guide line. I'll share it with you:
"At least (but not limited to) a new video every week"
Impressive, I know. The context of the videos will vary being anything from Machinimas to Lets Plays and it is entirely possible that we may upload more than 1 video per week, so be sure to watch that sub box with avid attention. That about wraps up my past news...
PRESENT NEWS
On Friday we uploaded our 3rd YouTube video with around 35 subscribers total - if you've yet to see this video, here is the link *BAM* - and it seems we did something right as at the time of writing this (5 minutes into Monday morning), we're sitting on 66 subscribers which is, to say the least, impressive.
I am going away on a vacation for the next 2 (maybe 3) Fridays, so the next 2 (possibly 3) videos you see will be all Ben's work but we have several ideas on the drawing board for my fabled great return on the 3rd day, look the east. (10 people got that reference). So that should be fun, this leads me onto...
FUTURE NEWS
Here is the plan of attack:
- New machinima video up every week around Friday/Saturday
- When PORTAL 2 launches, Ben and I will be doing a Co-op play through of that (with Ben as Atlas) where we will upload either 1 or 2 videos per week.
- If we have an idea we like, chances are you'll see it but with no fixed schedule so always be ready, we can strike at any time
Anyway, that's all I have, so I hope you've enjoyed us in the past, are enjoying us now and will continue to enjoy us far into the distant future!
Toodle pip!
